Top 10 Richest YouTubers in India 2026: Net Worth & Income

Richest YouTubers in India 2026: estimated net worth, subscriber counts and income sources of Tanmay Bhat, Technical Guruji, Samay Raina and more.

Top 10 Richest YouTubers in India

Ten years ago, making YouTube videos in India looked like a part-time gig. Something you picked up after college classes ended, shot on a camera you didn’t own, between job interviews.

That idea isn’t remotely true anymore. Today, India’s biggest creators run production companies, fund startups, negotiate OTT deals, sell out live tours and launch consumer brands. Some earn more from the businesses around their channels than from the channels themselves.

When it comes to creators and money, the public conversation is messy. None of the creators on this list publish audited financial statements. The net worth figures you see floating around are third-party estimates, pieced together from ad rates, best guesses about brand deals and what is known about their businesses. One creator on this list has even said publicly that the estimate attached to his name is wildly off.

So this list first ranks creators by the most recent widely reported estimates. Then it’s transparent about where those numbers come from. Then it digs into what each creator has built: the channels they run, the side businesses they began and the moves that turned their fanbase into a fortune.

This guide looks at the richest YouTubers in India in 2026, with estimated net worth, current subscriber counts and the income streams that set each creator apart.

How We Ranked the Richest YouTubers in India

Net worth is the hardest number to confirm in the creator economy. Here’s how we put this ranking together.

Net Worth Figures Are Estimates

The order of creators follows a ranking from Tech Informer. It draws on data from the MyJar blog and was widely reported by Storyboard18 and WION in October 2025. That list is the most recent one we could find that multiple outlets have reported. Where another outlet gave a different figure, we note that. None of these numbers have been confirmed by the creators themselves.

Individual Creators Only

We limit this list to individual creators who built personal brands on YouTube. We don’t include corporate channels run by music labels or TV networks, even when those channels have far more subscribers.

Subscriber Counts Are Dated

Subscriber counts come from vidIQ’s public YouTube stats and reflect each creator’s main channel as of late October 2026, unless noted otherwise. Counts are rounded.

Wealth Goes Beyond AdSense

Ad revenue matters, but it isn’t what built the biggest fortunes on this list. Brand deals, live shows, OTT projects, startup investments and companies make up most of these net worth estimates. That’s why you’ll see creators with fewer subscribers ranked above some of the biggest channels.

Top 10 Richest YouTubers in India (2026)

Here’s who made the cut, and how each of them turned viewers into a business.

1. Tanmay Bhat

Tanmay Bhat tops the most recent widely reported ranking, from Tech Informer, with an estimated net worth of ₹665 crore. Bhat has also publicly questioned that number. When a similar estimate appeared in 2024, he posted on X that the figure was “wildly off.” And after the October 2025 list went viral, he joked that he wouldn’t be selling YouTube memberships if he had that kind of money.

Bhat was born in Mumbai in 1990 and co-founded the comedy collective All India Bakchod (AIB) in 2013. After stepping away from AIB, he launched his own channel in 2019 with vlogs, reaction videos and game streams, and later started a second channel called Honestly by Tanmay Bhat. His wealth is usually linked less to YouTube and more to his angel investments, which StartupTalky lists as including Ultrahuman, SuperKalam and EquityList.

✔ Known for: AIB, comedy, gaming streams and startup investing
✔ Main channel: 5.51 million subscribers
✔ Key fact: Publicly disputes the estimate attached to his name

2. Gaurav Chaudhary (Technical Guruji)

Gaurav Chaudhary is estimated to be worth ₹356 crore and is best known for Technical Guruji, one of India’s most popular Hindi tech channels. His estimate appears in both the Tech Informer ranking and an earlier list from Qoruz, which was reported by exchange4media.

Chaudhary was born in Ajmer in 1991 and studied at BITS Pilani’s Dubai campus. He is based in the UAE. He launched Technical Guruji in October 2015 with phone reviews, unboxings and tech explainers in simple Hindi, and started a personal channel in 2017. In addition to ad revenue, Chaudhary makes money from product reviews, brand work and affiliate links. In March 2024, he won the Tech Creator award at India’s first National Creators Award.

✔ Known for: Hindi smartphone and gadget reviews
✔ Main channel: 23.7 million subscribers
✔ Key fact: Tech Creator award winner, National Creators Award 2024

3. Samay Raina

Samay Raina’s ₹140 crore net worth estimate makes him the highest-ranking stand-up comic on this list after Bhat. The Week also cited ₹140 crore as Raina’s net worth in early 2025, attributing that estimate to Net Worth Spot.

Raina was born in Jammu in 1997 and was joint winner of Comicstaan Season 2 in 2019. During the pandemic, he picked up a large YouTube following by livestreaming chess. He launched India’s Got Latent, a talent-style show, in June 2024, and it blew up into something much bigger. When controversy struck in February 2025, he removed the show’s episodes from YouTube. He returned to the spotlight later that year. His comedy special Still Alive premiered on YouTube on 7 March 2026, and his tour reached Madison Square Garden. In June 2026, he announced not one but two Netflix India projects, including a second season of India’s Got Latent.

✔ Known for: Dark stand-up, chess streams, India’s Got Latent
✔ Main channel: 10.5 million subscribers (July 2026)
✔ Key fact: Live tours and Netflix projects drive his income

4. Ajey Nagar (CarryMinati)

Ajey Nagar, better known as CarryMinati, has more subscribers than any other creator on this list. Tech Informer estimates his net worth at ₹131 crore. An earlier list from Qoruz estimated ₹50 crore, showing just how wide a range these estimates can span.

Nagar was born in Faridabad in 1999, started sharing videos when he was just 10, and his main channel has been active since 2014. Roast videos turned him into a celebrity. CarryisLive, his gaming stream channel, launched in 2017, and he appeared on TIME’s Next Generation Leaders list in 2019. Nagar also releases music, and his song “Yalgaar” was later used as the theme for the film The Big Bull. He earns from ads, live-stream support from fans, brand partnerships and music.

✔ Known for: Roast comedy and gaming streams
✔ Main channel: 45.8 million subscribers
✔ Key fact: TIME Next Generation Leader, 2019

5. Bhuvan Bam (BB Ki Vines)

Bhuvan Bam is widely seen as the creator who showed Indian YouTube could be more than a hobby. His estimated net worth is ₹122 crore, a figure that appears in both the Tech Informer and Qoruz lists.

He started BB Ki Vines around 2015, playing every character himself, including the one that made him famous: Titu Mama. In 2018, he was reported as the first Indian YouTuber to reach about 10 million subscribers. Bam then expanded into long-form content with the web series Dhindora and made his OTT debut in Taaza Khabar on Disney+ Hotstar in 2023, with a second season following in 2024. His company, BBKV Productions, oversees his output, and he also backs Peppy, a sexual wellness brand. He has also confirmed his Hindi film debut with Dharma Productions in Kuku Ki Kundali.

Bhadana was born in 1994 in Bulandshahr and raised in Delhi. He uploaded dubbing clips to Facebook before starting his YouTube channel in October 2017. Sketches about friends, family and small-town life resonated quickly with audiences, and in 2020 he became the first individual Indian YouTuber to reach 20 million subscribers. Since then, he has diversified into music (including “Father Saab,” a 2021 tribute to his late father), web series and brand deals.

✔ Known for: Desi comedy sketches in everyday Hindi

✔ Key fact: First individual Indian YouTuber to cross 20 million subscribers

7. Nischay Malhan (Triggered Insaan)

Nischay Malhan, known online as Triggered Insaan, has an estimated net worth of ₹65 crore. He is a great example of a creator who expanded from a single channel into several, all built around one persona.

A former IIT Delhi computer science student, Malhan worked a corporate job and kept it until his channel reached 100,000 subscribers. Starting in 2014, reaction and roast videos built up his flagship channel, while Live Insaan focuses on gaming streams. In March 2024, he was awarded Best Creator in Gaming at India’s first National Creators Award. His brother, Abhishek Malhan, is also a well-known creator under the name Fukra Insaan.

8. Dhruv Rathee

The Tech Informer ranking puts Dhruv Rathee’s estimated net worth at ₹60 crore. He’s unique on this list because his content focus isn’t comedy or entertainment but explainer videos.

Rathee grew up in Haryana and studied mechanical engineering in Germany. His channel lists Germany as its location and was created in 2013. He gained popularity for Hindi explainers that break down news, history and social issues into easy-to-understand lessons. Rathee has also turned that audience into products. In August 2025, he launched AI Fiesta with the founders of TagMango, a subscription platform that bundles several AI chatbots for ₹999 a month. Storyboard18 reported that it crossed $3 million in annual recurring revenue within 36 hours of launch.

✔ Key fact: Backer of the AI Fiesta subscription platform

9. Ranveer Allahbadia (BeerBiceps)

Ranveer Allahbadia’s estimated net worth is ₹58 crore, matching the Qoruz estimate reported by exchange4media. Few creators on this list have built as many companies off the success of a YouTube channel.

Allahbadia began chronicling his fitness journey on YouTube in 2015. He later co-founded Monk Entertainment, a talent and digital media company, and launched his podcast The Ranveer Show in 2019. The podcast won him the Disruptor of the Year award at the 2024 National Creators Award. His channels were hacked in September 2024, and in early 2025 he was caught in a controversy over comments he made on India’s Got Latent. In March 2025, the Supreme Court allowed him to resume his podcast on the condition that it maintain morality and decency.

Joshi was born in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, in 2000. He first shared pencil sketches on his art channel before creating Sourav Joshi Vlogs. His daily vlogs about family life took off during the COVID-19 lockdown, and the channel has since become one of India’s largest. In 2026, Filmibeat called him India’s biggest daily vlogger after he crossed 40 million subscribers. Beyond ads, Joshi earns from brand collaborations and has launched a vlogging masterclass on his own app.

✔ Known for: Daily family vlogs
✔ Main channel: 42.3 million subscribers
✔ Key fact: Youngest creator on this list

What the Richest Indian YouTubers Have in Common

A few things stand out when you scan the list.

Subscribers Don’t Decide the Ranking

For starters, the creator at No. 1 has the smallest main channel on this list. Sourav Joshi and CarryMinati have much larger audiences but rank lower. When it comes to wealth, channel size matters less than what creators build around their channels.

Live Shows and Long-Form Pay Off

Samay Raina tours and has signed Netflix projects. Bhuvan Bam has moved into OTT series and film. They’re examples of creators using live and long-form formats to earn in ways ad revenue alone can’t match.

Many Run Companies, Not Just Channels

Bhuvan Bam has BBKV Productions. Ranveer Allahbadia has Monk Entertainment. Dhruv Rathee backs AI Fiesta. Tanmay Bhat invests in startups. The richest YouTubers in India behave more like founders than celebrities.

Staying Power Matters

Several creators on this list, including Bhuvan Bam, Gaurav Chaudhary and CarryMinati, have been on YouTube for around a decade or more. Creators who’ve been around longer earn trust from both audiences and brands, and that trust is what ultimately turns into money.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the richest YouTuber in India in 2026?

According to the most recent widely reported ranking, from Tech Informer, Tanmay Bhat is the richest at an estimated ₹665 crore. Bhat has publicly disputed that figure. Gaurav Chaudhary of Technical Guruji ranks second at an estimated ₹356 crore.

Are these net worth figures accurate?

They are estimates, not audited numbers. Creators don’t publish their finances, so outlets build figures from ad rates, brand deals and known ventures. Because methods vary, the same creator can get very different estimates from one outlet to the next. CarryMinati, for example, has been estimated at both ₹50 crore and ₹131 crore.

Which Indian YouTuber has the most subscribers?

Among the individual creators on this list, CarryMinati has the largest audience, with about 45.8 million subscribers on his main channel as of late October 2026. Sourav Joshi Vlogs follows with about 42.3 million.

How do Indian YouTubers make money beyond ads?

The biggest earners mix several revenue sources: YouTube ad revenue, brand deals, live shows and tours, OTT and film projects, music, memberships, courses, their own companies and startup investments.

Why aren’t T-Series or other big channels on this list?

This list covers individual creators only. Corporate channels owned by music labels or media companies are businesses, not personal brands, so their earnings don’t reflect any one creator’s wealth.

Conclusion

The richest YouTubers in India in 2026 share one strategy: they stopped treating YouTube as the whole business. Tanmay Bhat invests, Samay Raina tours and has signed Netflix projects, Bhuvan Bam produces, and Dhruv Rathee builds products. The channel is a springboard, not the finish line.

Keep the numbers in perspective, though. Every net worth figure here is an outside estimate, and some creators dispute theirs. What can be measured, the audiences, the ventures and the years of steady work, tells the real story of how Indian creators are building wealth.
