New Delhi, 30 December 2022:
In a startling turn of events, India’s wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant sustained injuries in an unfortunate car accident.
In the early hours of Friday morning, cricketer Rishabh Pant experienced a serious accident while on his way from Delhi to Uttarakhand. His car collided with a divider and he was left injured as a result of the crash.
India’s wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant sustained minor injuries after a four-wheeler he was traveling in met with an accident on the outskirts of Jaipur. The incident took place at around 3 PM while the cricketer was heading to his hometown of Delhi.
According to reports, the car collided head-on with another vehicle and caused significant damage to both cars. However, fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the mishap. Pant received minor scratches and bruises but refused medical attention on the spot. He was later taken to a nearby hospital for a checkup.
Along his journey home to Delhi, Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant’s car was involved in an accident near the Narcan border of Roorkee near Hammadpur Jhal. As a result, he has been admitted to Saksham Hospital in Roorkee and later transferred for further treatment at Max Hospital in Dehradun.
Delhi Capitals’ IPL franchise sent out a tweet informing that Rishabh Pant had been involved in an accident on the stretch between Manglaur and Narcan, situated in Haridwar district. After being offered primary medical attention at a hospital in Roorkee, he was immediately relocated to Dehradun for further treatment. According to the initial imagery of the incident, it is believed that Pant has suffered from head and leg injuries as well as burn wounds on his back – something which appears likely due to him having broken through his car’s glass windows during the escape.
The other occupants of the car, including Pant’s coach and physiotherapist, were unharmed in the crash. The driver of the other vehicle is reported to have fled the scene after the collision. Police are currently investigating the case and looking for more information related to it.
Rishabh Pant broke a window to flee his burning car unscathed:
Rishabh Pant’s Mercedes was engulfed in flames following the collision.
His burns were not serious, according to the police.
Ashok Kumar, the Uttarakhand Director General of Police stated that the 25-year-old driver admitted he had dozed off at the wheel and thus lost control of his car.
At the moment of the accident, Rishabh Pant was alone in his car and had to break a window to escape. Max hospital in Dehradun has been recommended to him.
